| Why Do My Feet Go Numb? |
Usually, numbness results from compression of the nerves that supply sensation to the feet and toes. Sometimes, it can be the result of a Morton's Neuroma. This is an enlarged bundle of nerves that can develop between the bones of the toes at the ball of the foot. Wider shoe choices or foot orthotics may be an appropriate solution if you suffer from this problem. In extreme cases, surgery may be advised. See your doctor for an accurate diagnosis. |
