Michelle graduated from the University of Waterloo in 1990 with an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Kinesiology/Recreation. She received her Canadian Certification in Pedorthics in 1992.  She has been in Pedorthic practice for the past 17 years and continues to be most interested in sports medicine.

Michelle has served on the Certification Committee with the Pedorthics Association of Canada in the past and has been an instructor for the Pedorthics Program at the University of Western Ontario Continuing Studies for the past 2 years.
